The Species You'll Catch with Farout Fishing
Bronze Whaler / Hammerhead / Raggie Shark
One of the most powerful sharks, pound for pound, swimming in the Ocean. With Farout Fishing we offer the choice, as you prefer, of fishing from the beach, or venturing out into the surf in boats. Either way, you will experience the awesome power of one of natures great marine predators.

Tiger Fish
Probably the most popular of the fish that we target. Fished for with either a strip of fish fillet, a deadbait, or a lure approach, either way the take is incredible, and you're sure to see some acrobatics as these predators leap clear of the water, look you in the eye, and then do their utmost to spit your hooks back at you from jaws that would rival any on the planet!

Nembwe Bream
If you fancy a casting challenge - these incredible green fish will be waiting deep in the cover of reeds at the bank side. Unforgiving of anything but the most accurate cast right into the vegetation, they present great fun on light tackle. Very similar methods as used when fish ing for Bass in the USA.

Three-Spot Bream
The hardest fighting of the Bream species you are likely to encounter. Again targeted, as with the Nembwe, with spinners and spoons, and light tackle, they punch well above their weight and, on their day, are aggressive followers and takers of anything in their territory.

Barbel (Catfish)
Known in Africa as a Barbel, but in the UK as a Catfish. We don't typically tend to target them, but have certainly picked them up on all the methods used to target the other fresh water species. Being designed by nature as not much more than an enormous tail with a bucket mouth, these fish will work your arms as they use the pumping current to their advantage, and have been known to bigger than the anglers trying to catch them.
